Nymix is currently a free Early Access product: there are no paid subscriptions or in-app purchases to cancel when you delete your account.
Deactivate vs. delete
Deactivate (temporary, reversible): hides your profile from other users; your data is not deleted; reactivate any time by signing back in.
Delete (permanent): begins permanent removal of your account and personal data, with a 30-day recovery window before deletion is finalised.
Delete in the app
- Open the Nymix app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account is immediately hidden and scheduled for permanent deletion.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@getnymix.com from the email or phone number associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account". We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What happens after you request deletion
- Immediately: your account is hidden and no longer appears to other users.
- For 30 days: your account is in a recovery state — sign in within 30 days to restore it.
- After 30 days: an automated process permanently and irreversibly deletes your account.
What data is deleted
- Profile and onboarding details (name, date of birth, gender, bio, prompts).
- Photos and uploaded media; facial-verification data and face-collection record.
- Messages, conversations, matches, swipes, likes, super likes, and confessions.
- Private/Deep Connect conversations, Truth or Dare content, and private media.
- Blocked-user lists, notifications, device/push records, and OTP/verification records.
What data may be retained
To comply with the law and keep the community safe (for example, to prevent banned users from returning), we may retain limited information after deletion — such as safety and moderation records (active bans, confirmed moderation decisions, and certain reports, for example up to 18–24 months or longer where required) and records we are legally required to keep. Retained data is minimised and used only for safety, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
